Q's mission call...

Just thought I ought to add today that Quinten got his mission call to the Las Vegas, Nevada mission, and it looks like Doone and Rhett will be in his mission. That would be so cool if he served in their ward. I'm really happy for him. He sounds pretty excited, and he'll get to be with us for Christmas, so that's great. We have big plans (well, mostly the kids do) for a Christmas Eve talent show - continuing the tradition that Alene and Ciana started a couple years ago at the Graham Christmas home.

Oh, man I love the holidays!

So it wasn't as addicting as I thought, since I also started using a facebook page this week. Yikes. Now THAT'S addicting. Seeing all my friends from college days just randomly discover that I'm online and want to be my facebook friend makes me happy. :) I can't wait to get our computer fixed so I can start posting some more pictures of the family. We've had some good autumn shots lately, camping with grandparents and the football game yesterday...I'll get them posted soon, I hope. I don't really know if anyone is going to bother reading this blog, but it's kind of fun just to put some thoughts out there into cyberspace and know that I'm recording them forever, somewhere. :)

The leaves are just starting to change here, but the temperatures are still crazy warm for this time of year. I'm enjoying playing outside with my kids.

My attempt at family history has begun...

So I'm always saying that my scrapbook is our family history, and also my journal, but since I'm perpetually 2 years behind on that project, I'm biting the bullet and starting a blog, which will also go under my family history/journal umbrella. That way I don't feel guilty about the time I spend doing either, though I rarely do anything without doing my "chores" first, so hopefully this won't be yet another woefully-neglected-well-intentioned project. I have a feeling this could get addicting...
